Suzy’s Yorkies & Maltese is located on Fly Away Farm in Callands, Virginia. Callands is a quiet serene community nestled in the country a short drive from Danville and Martinsville Virginia.

Our Farm is home to the sweetest little Puppies. However these wonderful little ones share the many acres with our talented and beautiful Tennessee Walking Horses. Currently we have three "Walkers". Our once-upon-a-time Show Horses are now our Pleasure Horses.

While the horses enjoy grazing the pastures, the Puppies prefer the comfort of their own custom built home. They don’t shed, and have proven to be intelligent enough to earn their place in most any room the house. You might as well say "THEY RULE", because they do anyway.

Each puppy is born and raised under a watchful eye and all the TLC a family can give. We sometimes become very attached to them which makes us a bit more picky when placing them in a new home. You may see a few tears the day they depart, some happy ones, as well as many sad "sorry to see you go" tears. These little guys can grab hold of your heart the second you see them, and become more special than you ever imagined.

My husband, Henry, and I have three young adult children. Although our children are grown, we do not have an empty nest. Our four legged babies are quite demanding of our attention. We are greeted with a warm "pet me, love me, hold me" welcome everyday. It is a bit overwhelming at first for most guest, but so far NO complaints. These little ones love to share their charm with most anyone and they always get their way.

We become "Old Mother Hen" when there are babies in the house. Don’t be surprised when you visit if you’re asked to remove your shoes before entering and hands are to be washed just as a precaution. Germs can be harmful even deadly to a new litter.

Did I mention our "Puppies RULE" ? It’s true!!

It is our goal to maintain and provide the most well-rounded and healthy pet for your home. One that you will love and cherish for a lifetime.

I believe it is so important to meet and trust the breeder of your new pet; therefore, I choose NOT to ship my puppies. It is also very easy to be scammed with internet opportunities ...so BE CAREFUL! Get to know the breeder and choose wisely. I sincerely hope that the information I have provided about me will help you understand and know me better.
